Sailor Posted July 1, 2014 #1 Posted July 1, 2014 Just found a Moto Guzzi 600 with a rebuilt motor which has only test hours on it and a custom built sidecar. The car cost $7000.00. Both for sale for $4500.00. He built them then got sick and died before he could ride them. They have been parked in the garage for a year and a half. I am tempted but the wife would kill me.
winston66 Posted July 2, 2014 #2 Posted July 2, 2014 I think that I would be tempted to die happy. Cheers, Winston66, Northampton .Western Australia : stirthepot:: backinmyday:
Beau-Kat Posted July 2, 2014 #4 Posted July 2, 2014 or...she could take you to your funeral in the sidecar. At least you'd have one last ride.
Sailor Posted July 2, 2014 Author #5 Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks for the sympathy. It is a tough choice, happily married or die happy.
Stache Posted July 2, 2014 #6 Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks for the sympathy. It is a tough choice, happily married or die happy. With the alternative to be "die happily married". Either way eventually you die. Better to live happy until you die.
Beau-Kat Posted July 2, 2014 #7 Posted July 2, 2014 Teach her to ride and lead her to believe this will be her bike...
WildBill1 Posted July 2, 2014 #8 Posted July 2, 2014 Instead of asking for permission go for redemption after the fact......works for me. Good luck on staying alive though your not me.
Sailor Posted July 2, 2014 Author #9 Posted July 2, 2014 That is what I did with the Venture. First she saw of it was when she came home and it was in the driveway. This was followed by three weeks of decidedly frosty weather. When I bought the Merc I stashed it at a friends place for four months while working up the courage to tell her.
ronjolly Posted July 2, 2014 #10 Posted July 2, 2014 Don't tell her, you keep a few secrets frum her b fore??? I had a Moto 650 n 72 at Ft. Lewis, just got bac for a vacation spot in SE Aisa... Sweet Loved the Bike. Wish I still had it.... Go For It Homie.
