Gary N. Posted June 27, 2014 #1 Posted June 27, 2014 I got my left knee replaced on Tuesday and all is well and good. It's so nice to be back home with Nurse Mary to look after me. I'm going to miss riding the bike and the old truck for a while although the clutch in the old truck may work as a physical therapy. Now where did I put that bell???

EasyRider Posted June 27, 2014 #7 Posted June 27, 2014 While in recovery I suggest NOT WATCHING Why We Ride or On Any Sunday Unless your wife has removed the key from your ride and locked the garage door as well as removed the garage door opener. A fan and the post Wind Therapy may be allowed while sitting on the bike in small doses. Prayer for a full recovery goes out to you (an extra patience for your )

Wizard765 Posted June 27, 2014 #12 Posted June 27, 2014 Gary it's good to hear this news.. Now you NEED to do the therapy even if it hurts a somewhat.. From the experience of a few of my friends this is the most important part and the mobility you wind up with is directly proportionate to the therapy..

It's been a rough couple of years with Mary's cancer treatment and my bad knees. I will have to get the other knee replaced probably sooner than later. Mary and I are anxious to get back to living our lives again but unfortunately I have a date with the proctologist on Sept. 4. You know, bend over and say AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! My 20 year old brain in my 62 year old body is just not working out.
