Did Yama Mama Clone Herself?

Got a friend request today on FB from Yama Mama (or her clone) almost identical to her old profile. I have not heard back form her to see if she is a victim of scam or not.

She posted this within the past hour on FB.

 

"To all my Facebook friends, if you receive a request to be my friend do not accept it. (You know you already have been my FB friend I assume) Some one just told me they received what appears to be a bogus request."

Yes, it is a SCAM! I accepted and a minute later (supposed) she said hi and proceeded to tell me her good news, she was awarded $150000 from the Government to help out retirees. She then told me my name was on the list too, and I should contact some person. At that point I smelled scam so I wrote that you are a scam, not Peggy, BYE!

And that's why I am no loner on Facebook! Just too much of a hassle!!

It is me the real me. I changed my profile photo, and I changed my password. I do not know what caused this problem, but I apologize for it, however I really did not do anything to cause it as far as I know.

If you became friends with the new Peggy do her (the real Peggy) a favour and delete the friendship and report any messages you got from the new account to FB as a scam.

Peggy...be sure you change the password to your email account that is the email associated with your FB page. If they get that password, they can keep taking over your account no matter how many times you change your FB account password.

 

My sister in law's account kept getting hacked and they would message me about how "she" was mugged and needed money immediately. I had fun with the con man trying to give him fake American Express and Visa card numbers etc. All he wanted was an emergency Western Union money sent. I finally told him I had kept him on the computer long enough to trace his IP number... he never answered after that.... that hurt my feelings...

I finally figured how they kept getting into my Sister in laws account and it was through her email account. Every time she changed her password, they would request or read the same email in her account.

Happened to me too. My friends clued me in...so I posted a warning to FB that someone was cloning me, they took care of it. Idiot was gone within 24 hours.

Fellas! I think this fake Peggy thing has gone a bit too far. I only say that because Ron asked for my ID last night before we went to bed. It was upsetting I tell ya. I will not discuss the frisking however.
