Guest DakineVentue Posted March 12, 2008 #1 Posted March 12, 2008 Hey I need some help. I had left my key on too long unattended and my battery drained I called a friend to jump me off and while i was putting the cables on my bikes battery he was putting them on his trucks battery and guess what he crossed them up. To say the least it is now completely dead. Now I am trying to find the main fuse. Where is it? I pulled off the left cover to check fuses and it was not where the manual said it would be, it calls for a 30 amp fuse and there is not one in the fuse block.
BradT Posted March 12, 2008 #2 Posted March 12, 2008 Ouch ! Hope it is just the fuse. I think you need to remove the left rear passenger foot rest and it is hiding behind that cover. Brad
flb_78 Posted March 12, 2008 #3 Posted March 12, 2008 Yep, it's behind the left side passenger floorboard and it's 30 amp. Ive blown 3 or 4 or em.
Guest DakineVentue Posted March 12, 2008 #4 Posted March 12, 2008 thats where it is and after checking it, it is blown. So it's off to the fuse getting place. Thanks fo your help.

86er Posted March 12, 2008 #7 Posted March 12, 2008 Yep, it's behind the left side passenger floorboard and it's 30 amp. Ive blown 3 or 4 or em. I think you should figure out what's causing that, flb! Just bustin' your chops, Bud!
flb_78 Posted March 13, 2008 #8 Posted March 13, 2008 I think you should figure out what's causing that, flb! Just bustin' your chops, Bud! That's because of the power switch I have taped to the handlebars that rubs through once in a while and grounds out.
