Geeze!

Best recollection of 1970's songs?

The Seventies is when I got my first stereo and my first car (with 8 track) and my first REAL girlfriend and the beginning of my love for:

Kansas

Boston

Bachman Turner Overdrive

Steve Miller Band

Chicago

Eagles

Foreigner

Fleetwood Mac

Santana

Neil Diamond

Gordon Lightfoot

etc., etc.

The memories. Especially the "summer of '72".:whistling:

Search for their first album simply titled "Fleetwood Mac"

Some refer to it as Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac. Much more blues oriented. I never much cared for them after Grace Slick joined the band.

I have their first album. http://moneymusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Fleetwood-Mac.jpg Circa 1969:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Hj4neqKqbSw/Si1ObKN6yzI/AAAAAAAAA8Q/ZH7licNC3jU/s400/fleetwoodmac.jpg But this "poll" is for the Seventies and I much prefer the Fleetwood Mac of the Seventies.

I don't think Grace Slick was ever part of Fleetwood Mac. Do you mean Stevie Nicks?

Peter Frampton was pretty good.

I wasn't really a fan of the real Heavy Metal screaming bands, but that list that Prairehammer did was some of the stuff that I liked.

Thats whats cool about Rock and Roll. There are different levels of it.

And, I'm grown man enough to say when Disco came along I liked it too. I even liked and still like listening to some good Funk Music.

Boz Scaggs is another I liked.

Heart was good.

Pat Benetar was in the late 70's.

Eric Clapton.

Billy Squier.

Aerosmith was great.

Ambrosia.

Bad Company.

Eddie Money.

Foghat - Slowride.

Styx was great.

Rod Stewart had some good mild stuff.
