I've heard that the cheaper pumps don't hold up well under constant use.... i.e. a very flat tire. I picked up one of the Cycle Pumps for the scoot. It'll dent your pocket book, but better safe than sorry.... Ride-On and Cycle Pump are always on board. :thumbsup2:

I carry a cheap compressor that I bought at Wally World. I also took off all the plastic :smash2: which reduced the overall size considerably.

A friend of mine carries the Cycle Pumps and it is good. He also carries the Stop&Go tire plug system. I know those are excellent. I got a nail in a tire (rear) with only a few hundred miles on it and couldn't afford (or stand!) to replace it. I plugged it with Stop&Go and, as I recall, got 12000 more miles from that tire! In fact, I think that was the tire I did my burn out with and the plug even survived that! (Or maybe I'm hallucinating that part.:confused24: I've blinked since then!)

Lest you think I'm crazy, I swear that when I first looked at this thread there was no link. Honestly!

I've got the same compressor that Todd has and it seems to work fine. It was only $10 at Wally World. It's hard to beat that! We'll see how it holds up...
