But it is a pretty long ride for my poor marshmallow butt. Lots of gas stops. You mentioned that they open at 10 am. But what time are you planing to be there and how late are you staying?

They open at 10:00 am and I will be there at that time. it would be nice to see everyone arrive around that time??, and we can relax and take in a mug of root beer or coffee if you prefer. they offer a full burger type menu that we can enjoy or take in some of the other local offerings. As a group, we can decide if we want to just spend the day there or run around the local parks and maybe the leather shops or sight seeing. I know several are getting enough seat time just to get to here, and might just want to hang around for the fellowship.. If folks know that they are going to drag in later or get delayed for some reason and want to update us they can call or text me MIKE@ (815) 440-0287-verizon. if I don't answer then leave me a clue and I will return the call within a few minutes and Ron the owner of The Root Beer Stand will be glad to take your call also.
