Shout out to Walcott CB

I ordered the parts I need to do the Marshall Mod on my 2nd gen and the order came in today but one of the items (12FT cable with a motorola plug on one end and a Pl-259 at the other end) did not come as they included one with a pl-259 and a mini 8 plug bcn instead.

 

I called them right away and was very impressed with their approach. Essentially they immediately recognized their mistake, told me to keep the one they sent and indicated the right one would be sent out right away. About 15min later I got an email confirming it had been shipped with a tracking number.

 

NOW THAT IS GREAT SERVICE:thumbsup:

 

 

If anyone wants the wrong cable they sent, send me a pm and I will send to you as I have no use for it. Here is what it is.

If you think you might need a 12 foot CB coax cable in the future, just buy an inexpensive BNC to PL-259 adapter at RadioShack.

Thank you but I was kidding...the international post would cost more than the cable probably....find a ham operator or scanner listener in your circle of friends and give it to him or her....they will appreciate it!
