Ya , listened to the dude since 70's all over the airwaves on weekends. One of those dj's I always thought of as quirky but he usually had the top 40 dialed in.

I was surprised to find out in his early days he was a DJ on one of the local Buffalo radio stations, WBNY, but that was a station I never listened to. Yes, his voice and knowledge will forever be etched in my mind...

82 would have thought he was older than that as I too listened to him for what seems like forever.

Travelled a lot by car so you were most likely going to listen to him. All the best to the family.

I enjoyed his show on AFRTS...American Forces Radio and TV Service. I was a radio jock and TV director for them way back when overseas...

I remember his light informational banter.....the most. Made me a better DJ for sure...

I've listened to him so much over the years that I can hear his voice in my head. Too damn bad the last few months of his life he ended up being a bone between two dogs, the wife and his kids. Hopefully he was not aware of it.

Rest in peace Casey. One advantage to your doing classic R&R Top 40 is they can keep on playing the recordings forever! :680:
