Just besure to catch the spacer on the top rear one, and also watch for the rubber bushings, metal bushings and washers on the ones in the bottom of the bags, sometimes they get stuck and make it a bit tricky to get them loose and some times they fall out and you do not notice them.

Just pt in Rick Butler's bag bolts with the Diamond R under bag light AWSOME and... lost a rubber grommet and spacer between the grommets ??? I now have 4 of the chrome spacer that holds the bag away from the frame in the back top

put a small dab of glue or silicon in the metal spacers and inside of washers to hold everything together for the next removal and not have to chase things around on the floor.

George is correct, buy the bolt kits too!!

break small end off "extra" allen head wrench that fits saddlebag bolts and grind flat.

That way you can chuck in a clutched cordless drill and take those bags off quick fast...

I heard the fastest way to remove bags on a 2nd Gen is to ride on a straight road and let a 1st Gen ride past ...they always blow the bags off the 2nd Gen. :shock3:....
