edtheguy Posted June 10, 2014 #1 Posted June 10, 2014 I have a 1988 Venture Royale. Just noticed that I don't have a taillight. Checked wiring harness, replaced bulbs, contacts are clean. The dash computer shows no faults upon start up. Any idea what is wrong. Noticed it while at Road America last weekend for vintage bike racing. It was awesome. Thanks Ed
OrlinEngh Posted June 10, 2014 #2 Posted June 10, 2014 I would check under the seat and go threw those connections there, Also I had trouble with tail light and other electrical untill I did the fuse block up grade you could have a fuse that isnt making good contact. Orlin
vzuden Posted June 11, 2014 #3 Posted June 11, 2014 Hey, Ed. Was at Road America races too. I've gone the last 5 years and it gets better every year.
Neil86 Posted June 11, 2014 #4 Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) You might test for power at your fuse....marked TAIL. Bad fuse, fuse clips etc. The CMS will not alarm if the fuse is bad. Edited June 11, 2014 by Neil86
