MJ44 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Thanks for the updates! Sounds like fun and the nieces are always asking to go for a ride. Quite a few in PA. After reading the rules, all I have to do is show up at a stop and they give you the passport to complete the stops, correct? Mary Jo
Daveand Barbie Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 That could be fun if it weren't so heavily concentrated in the Cleveland area.

dave_wells Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 We decided to take Friday off and go for a ride Robin and I hit 8 stops around Dayton Ohio We stopped for Lunch at Quaker Stake & Lube in Beavercreek I bought a new Durag at Estelle's leather in Enon I did decided after a few long rides then This past Friday to go order me a new seat Today I went over to Iron Pony and ordered a new Mustang Seat I looked at the seat on J&P Cycles for 620.00 including free shipping Iron Pony had it for 689.00 I asked and they matched the price Total out of pocket for me was 160.00 I used the 500.00 dollar gift card I won in the dice run last year
Freebird Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Dave, I hope you have used a Mustang seat before or at least sat on one somewhere. My experience is that they push you forward a good bit.
dave_wells Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 Dave, I hope you have used a Mustang seat before or at least sat on one somewhere. My experience is that they push you forward a good bit. I have one on the tour deluxe for 7 years now I can ride that bike all day long with no problems I Find the seat very comfortable,With the 500.00 card I won last year it only costs me out of pocket 160.00.With the bad back the forward push seems to help , Well on the RSTD anyway The back rest is the big thing The last 2 long trips I took my back was out with in 3 days of the trip The seat I have now just really hurts the tail bone I wouldn't hurt if I lost a few pounds also

Freebird Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Dave, Give this some thought. You and Robin come by the house. We will ride over there with you. Have dinner or whatever and then come back to the house. You can stay in the cottage and go back home on Sunday if you want to.
