His "half as wide, twice as much mileage" does not fly with me. Yes, with the weight difference and the aerodynamics, I can see a substantial improvement. but with 1200cc's, why can we not get 60 or 70mpg's?

I would assume that our 1200 can't get 60 due to old technology (I'm sure this thing is ECU controlled) and of course aerodynamics. Our bodies on top of the bikes does cause significant drag, especially with a passenger. BUT now for the NEWS...
