Flyinfool Posted June 1, 2014 #3 Posted June 1, 2014 :sign yeah that: Those would be my first two guesses. Does it crank over? Where are you at?
bikenut Posted June 1, 2014 Author #4 Posted June 1, 2014 Everthing works on the bike but no spark. We think it is a bad starting circuit relay. Everything else check good. We are in Ames ia. It is a 5reinds bike with 130,000 miles on
Rick Haywood Posted June 1, 2014 #5 Posted June 1, 2014 I would bypass ignition switch first to see if it runs. Also recheck every fuse. If it is the relay I have a new one in the box but I doubg that Iis the problem. Let me know if I can help in anyway. 309@264@five 606
MikeWa Posted June 1, 2014 #6 Posted June 1, 2014 See if you have a pulse from the crank sensor. Mike
djh3 Posted June 1, 2014 #7 Posted June 1, 2014 What kind of bike. I'm sure the 1st gen and 2nd gen ignition systems are a bit different.

djh3 Posted June 1, 2014 #9 Posted June 1, 2014 Can it be swapped with another relay on the bike to check it out? Maybe a relay installed for driving lights or something.

That will tell ys for sure. I would be very suprised if that is the problem. It is pretty simple to get to it is located behind the fuel pump. I have a new one in the box if that is the problem I am 300 miles from you and I could bring it to you ifyou need it
