OutKast Posted March 10, 2008 #1 Posted March 10, 2008 Okay, Zumo 550 says it can talk to Bluetooth cell phones and headsets. My cell phone is compatible. Just purchased new headsets connected to factory intercom. Also, the audio out from the Zumo simply plugs into the Aux port of the cass player. How do I get the corded headset mic to talk into the mic port of the Zumo?

SteveP Posted March 10, 2008 #3 Posted March 10, 2008 If you have a bluetooth headset small enough to fit inside your helmet, you can pair the phone to the Zumo and also pair the headset to the Zumo. I did this with my motorola BT headset for a while, but it was only good elow 35mph -- any faster and the other person couldn't hear anything I said, though I heard them jsut fine up to about 60mph. BuddyRich's cable is the way to go for cell conversations through your helmet headset (fairly priced, easy to install & does the job as advertised). Here's the thread with ordering information for the cable.... http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14220
