bikenut Posted May 29, 2014 #1 Posted May 29, 2014 :sun1:Leaving on a 20 day trip and 7800 miles from Wisconsin. Headed to the Grand Canyon ,Lake Havasu London Bridge, Yusimidi Park , US 1 highway in Cal., Red woods Park, Then up to Spokane Wash, Then up into BC Canada over to the Glacier National Park then Highway 2 all the way back to Wisconsin. There are 5 people and 3 bikes going . Should be a great Trip. Once we get back my wife and I will have traveled from Wisconsin on the bike to all the lower 48 states and all but one province of Canada that touches the USA. We will get that last Province next year when we go out to Portland for Lobster again, Four days and that is all we eat. Wish us luck with the weather on our trip Will post some pictures on the trip at www.wisconsin-wmt.com in the forums in the RIDER CAFE. My 2006 Venture & Bushtec trailer is ready to go. Can't Wait :sun1::sun1:

Prairiehammer Posted May 29, 2014 #3 Posted May 29, 2014 Have a safe and FUN trip, Keith. Wow! Twenty days! I envy you. I had planned a bike trip to the Grand Canyon and environs for the first part of June, but unlike your trip, ours has fallen apart. Life goes on.

djh3 Posted May 29, 2014 #11 Posted May 29, 2014 Just watching the Weather Channel because we have some severe stuff floating thru now. Looks like you could run into some big storms on your way there, so keep a sharp eye. Have your navigator get a good weather app with radar to help you.
XV1100SE Posted May 29, 2014 #12 Posted May 29, 2014 Sounds like a great trip. One thing that Evan and his wife did was a blog as they went East. When we traveled West last year we did the same thing. Was a good way to keep friends, VentureRiders, and family up to date on how you are doing and where you are daily. Here is the link we did for our trip - http://ventureswest2013.blogspot.ca/2013/07/off-we-go.html

bikenut Posted May 29, 2014 Author #14 Posted May 29, 2014 I would but I rode the 86 trike all last year then went back to two wheels on the 06 and that was very scary. Will ride the 86 trike a little each year until I need her full time LOL then get rid of my two wheel 2006 which I hope will be a long time from now.
