1st Gen pipes on a 2nd Gen

Anybody know if stock pipes off of an 89 1st Gen would fit on a 2009 RSV ?

I know...making a 2nd Gen that fast with 1st Gen pipes might upset the gravitational pull and the earth's rotation, but this is a temporary emergency fix for a cross country rider.

They are completely different pipes, 1st gen to 2nd gen.

 

Not a chance of making anything work other than mufflers, maybe.

That I do not know, mufflers were a blind stab at what might work, rest is no chance.

 

Didn't get the stock exhaust when I got my RSV Hybrid parts collection.

go find him a cheap set of Harley Road King or Ultra take offs. Because the 1st gen mufflers have a pretty good bend in them they are not likely to work. The Harley's will.

Hey, with the right adapters and McGuivering you can make anything fit everything...

You can't put 1 Gen mufflers on a 2nd Gen. If you do, other things will start falling off and it'll be in the garage more than on the road.
