I travel that road a lot and used to travel it every day on my bike. Haven't read any details on what happened as of yet. But looking at the photos, it appears to be his personal bike maybe?

Hope he is ok.

We have had 4 bikers (that I know of) die in this state this past week. This year the numbers have been high down here.

Nope not his own. A lot of departments are going with the Victories now. You can see the communications trunk on it.

Hope he is ok as well. Always sad but having a good friend who was a motorcop die while on duty a year ago because of someone else's stupidity makes it even worse to me.

Bike looks bad. Pray he is not as bad.

A STAR Touring friend in VA Beach is a motor cop in Newport News.

Rick is 6'7" and a mighty force to recon with.

He was on duty. A van (at fault) pulled in front of him. I think residential area.

Badly busted right arm, lots of internal bruising. Several surgeries and a bout a month later he is on light duty. But he is back on his personal Victory Vision.

I've ridden in Newport News and Hampton area. Drivers will cut a bike of without a thought.

Watch out, out there.
