Oldodge Posted May 22, 2014 #26 Posted May 22, 2014 You can almost "see" the air in that one. And that is never good.
P-roy Posted May 22, 2014 #27 Posted May 22, 2014 I also did not notice how thin the tire was getting, but I didn't find out at the wash. I got to find out riding 2 up at about 45 in the twisties. She wobbled real good, felt like the entire road was a giant wet tar snake. Rode her to a stop, got off and took a deep breath. The pic doesn't do it justice as the same thing you see goes the whole way round. The spot on the right was hissing at me.
Peder_y2k Posted May 23, 2014 #28 Posted May 23, 2014 Those tires look like a blowout lookin' for a place to happen........ -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
BradT Posted May 24, 2014 #29 Posted May 24, 2014 Don't know if I should open up a can of worms again or not. Got 24,000 miles out of a Dunlop 404 Used up a lot of Dunlop 404 WWW's and never had one bulge like that. Used to throw them away with tread left every year after Don's MD. Safer that way and always got more than 10,000 miles on them Brad
