ragtop69gs Posted May 20, 2014 #1 Posted May 20, 2014 Yesterday we rode the Cherohala skyway, what a beautiful and fun road to ride. We continued on to the Dragon, stopped at Deals gap for some trinkets then got on the bikes, ready to tame the Dragon when it was announced that there was a fatal accident about 1/2 way up and the road would be closed for several hours. We didn't have time to wait so we continued on with our trip east. A slow biker waved a quicker crotch rocket around just before a blind curve, the faster bike went for it and a car came around the apex and a head-on crash was the result. All that way and we didn't get to ride the dragon Our condolences to the rider that lost his life yesterday.

ragtop69gs Posted May 21, 2014 Author #5 Posted May 21, 2014 It wasn't meant for us to ride it that day. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe next time... We'll see the grandkidz tomorrow , that's what really matters, have not seen them since last Oct.
