I have no use for it. Took a few rides to get used to not having one but not an issue at all now. Going by sound and by feeling sufficient torque or not.

I am of the opinion YES!

I use mine all the time to make sure that I keep the revs above 3000RPM.

So do what floats your boat but I say Yes.

it will also help set your rpms when doing you carbtune one day as well.

some do have the ear for it though !

Use my tach always. Keep those revs up and only shift above 3K. Better mileage and performance.
