Snaggletooth Posted May 19, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 19, 2014 OK. I gotta ask. Found an E3 on the JW site. Listed as a MU90B-16 (78H) My Venom is 140/90-16 71H. My mind says its the right tire fit but when i search model it only shows fitting '86 and up. Any reason this tire wont fit on an '84 MK1 Thanks From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.

Snaggletooth Posted May 19, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted May 19, 2014 Thanks Gary. Couldn't see why it wouldn't. But had to check. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.
Peder_y2k Posted May 19, 2014 Share #4 Posted May 19, 2014 If my memory serves me correctly, the M series tire size designation began around 1986, so the catalog wouldn't list anything earlier ...... but the tire size is the same. Similar to the concept of the 'inch' vs 'metric' crossover . -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA

Snaggletooth Posted May 20, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted May 20, 2014 I ran across a site when i googled the MU #. Came up with any other size that would fit. Good enough. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.
