Gray Ghost Posted May 10, 2014 #1 Posted May 10, 2014 I haven't been on much lately, but just to catch folks up, I have graduated from MMI and plan to go back out to Texas and either work at a dealership or open up a shop. First off though, Elizabeth and I are going to ride through the lower 48. If you are curious about where we are going or what we are seeing, we have maps posted and will be posting photos and comments on https://www.facebook.com/fargasonservices?ref=hl. We will be riding a brown Spyder RT with a trailer rather than the Venture as that is one we can both drive. Wave if you see us.
bostonlawman2003 Posted May 10, 2014 #2 Posted May 10, 2014 That looks like one heck of a trip! Enjoy, I'll be following along on FB, looking forward to some great pictures!
Venturous Randy Posted May 10, 2014 #4 Posted May 10, 2014 If you have never read it, go to a used book store and see if you can pick up a copy of Blue Highways, by William Least Heat Moon. It is a very good read and he did about the same thing. RandyA
utadventure Posted May 10, 2014 #5 Posted May 10, 2014 Let us know when you'll be in the Salt Lake City area!!
cowpuc Posted May 10, 2014 #6 Posted May 10, 2014 LOOKS LIKE A BLAST GRAY GHOST!!! Congrats on your Graduation from MMI, and on your superior plans for the immediate future!! We will be keeping a weathered eye out for your Spyder while touring this year!! If you happen to see an old beat up 83 Venture covered with stickers and tent hangin on the back PLEASE flag us down - would LOVE to say hi!!! I will do the same, if you look in your rear view and see that pathetic thing chasing on ya please dont think your being robbed by homeless people (been told thats what we look like).. Hope you folks have a WONDERFUL safe trip out there this year!!! Puc PS - also best wishes where ever your employment future leads!!
Gray Ghost Posted May 11, 2014 Author #7 Posted May 11, 2014 Thanks to all for the tips and good wishes. And cowpuc if you can't run rings around a Spyder (998CC) with a 1St gen something is way wrong. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
