pegscraper Posted March 8, 2008 #27 Posted March 8, 2008 Congratulations Gary! I know that once bikes are in your blood, you can never quit. I was in a bad wreck once many years ago and it was six months before I could walk again. As soon as doc released me to work, I was back on a bike.

JPM Posted March 9, 2008 #36 Posted March 9, 2008 Wow Joe, at that rate it will take me 14 years to get all my strength back. Just about the time I'll be look'n for a 3 wheeler. Na, your younger and tougher. I did suffer a lot of strength loss though and not allowed to exercise too strenuously or too often for about 6 months. The bike was real heavy that first summer. I'm still not sure if I'm supposed to be riding though so I don't ask. For me, it was slow going, hopefully faster for you. See you soon Joe
