Puc, how "slippery" is that surface? I have always wanted to do that. Not necessarily on a bike though.

 

Funny you should ask that Money,,, been ice racing motorcycles for years here in Michigan.. Screws in the tires and all that.. While rippin across that salt I kept having neorotic fear phycosis that I was running on ice without screws,,, really really strange feeling.. Went away when I broke 120..

Its like riding on pavement!! If you go out there though,, its best to pre-run the raceway and check for soft spots,, if the Bonneville has gotten any recent rain (and ironically - they do get some wild storms out there) water can collect in pockets and create mushy spots.. Other than that,,, rock solid!!!:cool10:

Been there done that in a F-16 when I was a lot YOUNGER. It is a real RUSH to be in a plane that dern fast I tell ya!!!! And if you want to really jack up your pucker factor then do a night time landing on a aircraft carrier at sea....woo boy!!!!

Boomer....who sez them jet jockeys are a whole different breed of cats!
