CMCOFFEY Posted May 6, 2014 #2 Posted May 6, 2014 Dang brother, take a trip down to Las Vegas Nevada, it is always summer here, except for those few weeks that make us shiver while riding our bikes.
Dale124 Posted May 6, 2014 #6 Posted May 6, 2014 I'd settle for spring here. I woke up to more crappy weather this morning. Mother Nature is sure being a b***h this year.

Huggy Posted May 6, 2014 #8 Posted May 6, 2014 Isn't this a pretty sight this morning......April 30 was deadline for removing studded tires.... Keith Come on!!! Every Canadian knows that the snow doesn't stop in Newfiland until July 15th and it start snowing again August 15th!!!!!!!
Stache Posted May 6, 2014 #9 Posted May 6, 2014 Yeah, I had to decide against taking the bike again today. The only real flaw with living in God's chosen country is that God limits the amount of time you get to enjoy it on two wheels.
Flyinfool Posted May 6, 2014 #10 Posted May 6, 2014 At least you are allowed to have studs at some time. Studs have been outlawed here for the last 40 years.
midnightrider1300 Posted May 6, 2014 #11 Posted May 6, 2014 was 88 here in Alabama yesterday.... gotta love the sunny south.... except for the tornado's.... lo
jakester Posted May 6, 2014 #12 Posted May 6, 2014 Summer is here....99 degrees yesterday ...95 today...This weather makes for soggy butt syndrome. At least the wind is a better than last weeks 60 mph winds and low visibility and sand storms. I think spring has missed us. At least you have moisture. Drought conditions not so good around here. Every day is a good one, just, some are better than others. Bill
Venturous Randy Posted May 6, 2014 #13 Posted May 6, 2014 Well, we went from a long drawn out winter to a very short spring into summer. Our part of the world here in the mountains of east Tennessee is usually pretty moderate compared to other places. That being said, we are to be in the upper 80's all week and to me, that is pretty warm. But, I know that if we are hot here, it is really hot in other places. Our problem here right now with all the flowers and trees is pollen. I have a black Infiniti that I cleaned up real good a couple of days ago and with it sitting on the carport, it is almost yellow. kevin-vic-b.c. Posted May 6, 2014 #14 Posted May 6, 2014 They say Summer is just around the corner..... I been doing a lot of riding and I have not found THE corner yet. That being said we have set a few record hi temperatures already this season .... mid to hi 20s I will take in April anytime.... May should be brighter. I thought BC was the only place you could use studded tires in Canada.... have not used any in about a decade but I know they still exist.
Stache Posted May 6, 2014 #17 Posted May 6, 2014 They say Newfoundland has 4 seasons. I agree: 1. Almost Winter. 2. Winter. 3. Still Winter. 4. Road Repair.
Yammer Dan Posted May 6, 2014 #18 Posted May 6, 2014 It's a nice 80 degrees in good ol Texas! And will be 110 next month!!
Sailor Posted May 7, 2014 #19 Posted May 7, 2014 Sorry about that weather. We tried to ship you some summer from out here in sunny B.C. but it must have gotten hung up on the rockies.
Carbon_One Posted May 7, 2014 #20 Posted May 7, 2014 No real summer here yet. Been mostly cool and wet or with cloud cover. Oh yea lots of wind at times too. As Eddy says it'll be 78 tomorrow. Good news there as I'm hitting the highway in the morning for the south. Destination is Dresden Tn. with an overnighter somewhere around Indianapolis, In. Larry

BRandx51 Posted May 8, 2014 #25 Posted May 8, 2014 As stated above 78-80 forecast here for today, the good news me and the wife are taking our first longer ride today (250 miles) the bad news is it's to visit the mother-in-law.
