shmily Posted May 6, 2014 #1 Posted May 6, 2014 I recently did a detailed cleaning of my wheels. After using a foam wheel cleaner and a lot of elbow grease, I still have what appear to be stains (for lack of a better term) on the wheels in just a few spots. Any suggestions for getting them clean? I'm afraid to use anything too harsh because I don't want to damage the finish.

Feel it with your finger abd see if you can feel a difference in the surface. If this pitting exist , you can either live with it, strip the clear coat polish and polish wekk after week. , paint or, if you really care that much strip it polish abd have a shop clear powder coat it. One shop on linrg island NY quoted me. 80 per wheel to Strip polish and coat or 60 to strip and paint in any non metallic color. May be an option for you
