was trying to decide between the shimko tourmasster 230 and the Pirelli MT66

 

just ordered a Pirelli MT66 from Jake Wilson @ $99.99 at my door it should arrive Tuesday

 

I know it was probably unnecessary but I don't need to have another worry right know

 

I guess I'm even older that I think lol

Just another thought.

 

I added a very strong N52 magnet to the bottom of my bike to help with being detected at traffic signals. But that is another discussion.

The point is that I have pulled many nails, screws and other road trash off of that magnet that may have been destined for my back tire. It may or may not have saved me from a rear flat tire.

I bought this a few weeks ago. Lots of You Tube videos show how it works. Have not used it yet, but looks like a good system.

just went to my mechanic he said he will patch it for just the cost of the assembly and re balance ($60)

He swears it is completely safe and he does it on his sport bike.......... also said not to ride on plugs for long distance ...................:confused24:

I can get a Pirelli MT66 for a hundred bucks anyone had use this tire ?????

 

The Pirelli MT66 is a great tire, but I doubt you will get very good mileage given the weight of your bike. For a $100 it might be worth trying anyway.

Plug patch it and it will last the life of tire.

I'm assuming your speaking of a plugged tire instead of a patch as your stating? Because I never heard nor seen an outward patch on a tire ? As this Can be misleading to some here

 

Plug and an INSIDE patch.

did not get much mileage out of the Michelin either lol

 

I know just patching the tire from the inside would've been the right solution but I am not in good shape to do it myself, I'm new in the area, I'm just getting to know my mechanic, I trust him with my bike, but not with my life yet.
