I needed a new rear tire so I thought I would try removing it myself.I did it and also serviced the drive shaft ,changed brake pads,changed final drive gear oil,realigned the saddlebag rails,changed the speed sensor,did the hub service.Put it all back together and EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT.Thanks to all the information and pictures in the tech section,I would have never attempted this on my own.One thing I did do was build myself a safety stand that connects to the trailer hitch and extends as the bike is lifted.I drilled several holes to install a hitch pin and it held the bike sturdy while it was on the lift.:whistling:

There's nothing more satisfying than working on your own scoot, taking it out for that first ride, and knowing everything you did now works right! Such a sense of ownership and pride! Great job!!!!

I used all the spare parts on my 1st gen.now it's a cool bike.
