Just a note here. If the Oberlin Inn runs out of rooms. I have never been inside the Sunset but from the outside, it is pretty rough. Don't think I would recommend it. Plenty of room to camp at my place for those so inclined. If the Oberlin is full, several members have stayed at the Days Inn in Amherst. Only about 17 miles up the road.

So since this is my first year being able to attend this event, I need some clarification. Is this just Saturday, or does it spill over to Sunday as well?

It is pretty much over with on Saturday but a number of people didn't actually leave until Sunday.

anyone going to Don's from the east, we'll be leaving here about noon on Thursday, staying overnight somewhere and arriving in Oberlin sometime Friday PM. If you want to meet up along the way, let me know before then.

The first year I did this, I think there were about 18 people here for maybe 3 hours or so. There are now over a hundred folks and it seems to grow every year. Last year people started showing up on Friday evening and didn't get out of here until Sunday.

Here are our placs;

We plan to leave Thursday morning,

ride aprox 10 hours,

spend the nigth some place,

get up and ride to the Oberlin Inn on Friday.

Spend Friday night and saturday night in the Oberlin Inn.

Leave on Sunday heading south 10 hours

Spend the night again some place..

Monday get up and head home

I just reserved rooms for us and 93 Venture. We'll be there sometime Friday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing old friends again and meeting some more new ones. Anyone coming from the west on Friday across northern Indiana let us know and maybe we can meet up and ride in together.
