muaymendez1 Posted April 12, 2014 #3 Posted April 12, 2014 plus 1 with the carb synch. Mine just cleared up and has snappy response after the synch
SARNA66 Posted April 12, 2014 Author #5 Posted April 12, 2014 Alright- Im gonna study up, and do this Thanks for the info:fingers-crossed-emo
muaymendez1 Posted April 12, 2014 #6 Posted April 12, 2014 Sarna. Ther eis not much to it but you do need a set of gauges or mercury manotmet and a long philiips and small flathead to complete this. There are other methods that work also but simpler and easier with the right tools. If you don't have a manometer of some kind I suggest finding someone here that doesn't live to far and buying them breakfast for a synch.
muaymendez1 Posted April 12, 2014 #7 Posted April 12, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGkoFKe8Y5w I was trying to upload video showing where the synch screws are but it didn't show up well. Thee is one screw phillps head on the right side then one on the left but you can only reach it from the right The one on the right changes the relation between right front and rear and left screw balances left front and rear. On the left side is a flat head screw that balances left side bank to right side bank. Ill try to take some HD pictures at night and maybe the flash will show the screws better
KIC Posted April 12, 2014 #8 Posted April 12, 2014 The only corrective action for a slow, hesitant 2nd Gen is to buy a 1st Gen. Works every time.

Yammer Dan Posted April 13, 2014 #13 Posted April 13, 2014 So I can ride like a old man at times but when I can't control the Kid in me I still got a 1st Gen!!!
muaymendez1 Posted April 13, 2014 #14 Posted April 13, 2014 I was going to look at a first gen a few months ago but the address provided was a senior home. I wonder if that is a regular occurrence
Yammer Dan Posted April 13, 2014 #15 Posted April 13, 2014 Nope!! When most guys on here start getting old you find them getting 2nd Gens!!! Older and slower... I was just trying to convince the warden I had slowed down!!!
muaymendez1 Posted April 13, 2014 #16 Posted April 13, 2014 Hahahah the seniors around here are pretty funny. Too bad I have a great running bike and the pokes don't hurt too much.
