rcbailey56 Posted April 10, 2014 #1 Posted April 10, 2014 1992 Venture Royale. Working on brakes. Is it just me, or does the location of the reservoir for the rear master cylinder make it a real pain to work with? I'm thinking I need to put that thing somewhere else. At least somewhere where I can get the lid off. Yes, I know I can fill it with a syringe or tubing, but I'd rather just put where I can see into it, clean it out if I want to, etc... Anybody ever tried this or am I trying to over-simplify this bike? Thanks, Richard:lightbulb:
bongobobny Posted April 10, 2014 #2 Posted April 10, 2014 Well, as long as it is above the rear master so gravity can do it's thing and you can figure out where, then go for it...

diversity48 Posted August 9, 2015 #4 Posted August 9, 2015 I'm sure the engineer that designed the rear brake reservoir and decided on THAT location was either promoted to "top of the class" or fired immediately depending on the sense of humor level of his/her superiors.
KISA Posted August 10, 2015 #5 Posted August 10, 2015 (edited) 5 years there was a tank from the car. No problem. Edited August 10, 2015 by KISA
