I have yet to see a practical electric vehicle. This does not appear to be an exception. To be practical it has to make it to work and back on a charge with a good safety margin of battery power.

Yeah...you could say that. My Michelin CommanderII rear tire lasted almost 14,000 miles; I'm impressed 'cause I don't really ride gently. Sometimes I think the drivers in WR are keeping score!
