oldgoat Posted April 9, 2014 #1 Posted April 9, 2014 well today it got up to 60 out side so I had this crazy idea to take stella out of the storage unit and go for a little ride. got her out pulled the choke turned on the fuel and the key. hit the starter and she fired right up. let her warm up while I put on my gear. and off we went. stella was ready so we went for 120 mile round trip. came home to find out that my body needs to work out. stella has a nice solo seat with a back rest. but I guess my back problems from the past came back to haunt me. as well as my knee problems. I went back to the storage unit to put stella away for tonight. I could hardly move. after I put her away I duck walked to my jeep. and could just manage to get in. I was in tears. I guess months of winter and using the shovel I did something? have a doctors apt on the 21st will see how that goes. I did enjoy the ride though

dunsonaventure Posted April 12, 2014 #6 Posted April 12, 2014 Just broke out my 99,or the BUICK as my fellow riders call it. turned the fuel on, unplugged the tender, pulled the choke, cranked the throttle a couple times, and old reliable fired right up. Checked my tire pressure and down the road I went. Still makes me smile, every year.
