Calvinski Posted April 8, 2014 #1 Posted April 8, 2014 Hey Everyone ... I am not sure if there is a viable solution here, but I thought I would ask ... I have an '85 Venture (not the Royale version) and a 27.5" inseam ... thus short legs ... Is there a way to lower the back end and still enjoy the bike? I have read some kits for the back and different seats ... however there is no common solution it seems ... If anyone has any advice, that would be great ... I just switched from a Honda Magna to the Venture and it is like night and day ... would love to make the Venture the bike I am looking for ... thanks in advance!! Cal
Venturous Randy Posted April 8, 2014 #2 Posted April 8, 2014 How much air are you running in the shocks? RandyA
Peder_y2k Posted April 8, 2014 #3 Posted April 8, 2014 Wear 'lift' boots. That'll make you taller, and you'll have new boots. -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
bongobobny Posted April 8, 2014 #4 Posted April 8, 2014 Unfortunately the Venture is just plain a tall bike. Try the suggestions above. You could try a slightly smaller rear tire but I doubt you would gain more than 1/4 inch there. You can try removing some of the padding from the seat, lower air pressure in front as well as the rear...
