Peder_y2k Posted April 3, 2014 #2 Posted April 3, 2014 Welcome to the party!!!...... Tip: Keep the shiny side up! -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
Dano Posted April 3, 2014 #3 Posted April 3, 2014 Welcome to the club, been here for about 6+ years. You'll love the bike for darn near all types of riding, especially all day! If you have a better half on the back, get them some arm rests & highway pegs to make them feel "safer" along the way. There are different windscreens, air foils, etc. to help with the air flow around ya, learn here about the preventative maintenance you ned to learn. Oh yeah, come off that $12 and join the site!
RandyR Posted April 3, 2014 #4 Posted April 3, 2014 good ride. I miss mine. btw, the Millenium is a 2000 not 2001 model year. Just read the forum to find all the tips and tricks. in particular, the 2nd gen Tech section http://www.venturerider.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14 btw, this is the first year we haven't held a 'March on Rome' rally at the Fuddruckers up by the Stadium.

cowpuc Posted April 3, 2014 #7 Posted April 3, 2014 Hi Highwayman!! WELCOME!! NICE BIKE - wow waahhhh wow wow wow!! My wife, Tippy,, doesnt really care for white,,, I,, on the other hand,, think the bike you now own is the absolute prettiest bike Yammy ever built... If I were in your shoes the smile on my face would match the smile on your face in the pic... Only difference is,, the pic would have been of me flyin by... You didnt say how many miles on it,, that would probably help in things to check.. If it were mine I would probably take a peek at the intake manifolds and see if ya got any cracking in the rubber.. Maybe a look at the bottom of the rear shock, see if theres any sign of leakage.. All thats left is a stop at Menards, grab a 25 dollar tent and a sleeping bag,, take the summer off and cruise the VR events all over North America showing off the bike.... Pleasure to meet you and your gorgeous new wheels Highwayman!! See ya on the road:15_8_211[1]: Puc

kevin-vic-b.c. Posted April 3, 2014 #9 Posted April 3, 2014 first tip: pay the $12 you will not regret it 2nd tip: rear brake at low speed (parking lots etc) 3rd tip: find out if you have a local rider training organization that offers experienced rider training, they will help you learn the feel and how the RSV can handle. 4th tip: ride it lots and have fun.
