2nd Gen Warranty?

Hi All, I am looking at a 2006 RSv I would be the 3rd owner, will I still be able to transfer the 5 yr warranty? or is there a limit to the number of owners, or some other silly stipulation. Thanks for any help. Craig

5 yr, no stipulations that I have found. It trasfered to me without any trouble. Go for it.

mine transfered to me but had to take it to a dealer and pay the dealer $25 to have it done.

If you buy it, just prove to your local dealer it's yours. They will go online to Yamaha and change the warranty ownership info. Mine did it while I waited, did not charge me (but I have a great dealer in Sumter SC).

Keep in mind your looking at a 2006 year model, and (2) of the (5) year warrenty has already been used up..

You will only be getting the remaining (3) years of warrenty when transfered to your name....

Just a reminder that you will not have a full 5 years of warrenty...
