Why do I ride a motorcyle?

Now that I've gone through the thread...all of the above. There is no simple explanation, it's just one of the things that defines me.

When I am asked, I just tell them; Only a real motorcycle rider truly understands the reason a dog sticks his head out the window, and if YOU don't understand why they do it, then I certainly recommend that you should never ever get on a motorcycle...........

They then end up standing there completely puzzled trying to figure out the reasons a dog does stick his head out the car window.

Yeah I've had a dog wreck and deer wreck, in that order and about 20 years apart. Still riding.

 

Started out at 9 years old on a Bridgestone 90 my dad bought as a basket case and brought back to life... 1970 been riding in one fashion or another ever since.

Why ride? Why ski, why sail, why rock climb, why fly, why fish, why enjoy life? Why not sit in a corner and do nothing? Because I want to live before I die.
