Cruise Control Fix

Hello Guys, many of us Royal Star Tour Deluxe guys and Venture riders have issues with are cruise control. A friend of mine who rides a Gold Wing also had similar issues where the Cruise would not engage all the time. He suggested I push my clutch out while engaging the Cruise control. Walla, cruise control works fine no problems since. What I do is get up to speed. When I am ready to set my speed I ever so slightly push the clutch handle forward with the tip of my finger while simultaneously hitting the set button, hold for about a second and Walla, cruise engaged. Of course one could go and adjust the clutch lever and what not but why. There it is folks, hope this is helpful to at least one member.
