Passing lamp question for RSTD.

Hey Folks,

 

I'm gonna buy passing lamps in the near future for RSTD. I have been considering the standard yamaha sealed beam, or the yamaha halogen lamps. My question is; yesterday I ran across a pair of yamaha tri-bar style lamps that fit the RSTD/Venture that I can buy for cheap, is there a benefit for buying the tri-bar design, or is it just an aesthetic thing

I think its just a looks thing. As far as bulbs go I like my halogens (35w) vs the sealed beam jobs. but the cats meow seems to be the LED, but they aint cheap. There are a few different lens styles I guess you would call them. Tri-bar, diamond cut, seems there is another tri-bar type with something added to it.

Just a looks thing as far as I know. I have them on mine. Had to order the tri-bar head lamp to match.
