djh3 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Hey was looking around Northern Tools site. The LED passing lights that seem to work as a replacement are on sale for $20 ea. I'm still on the fence about these units as I have not heard anyone say how bright they are at night or anything. I know they seem to show decent in the daytime to oncoming traffic.
Tisunac Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Aren't our passing lights 4.5 inches in diameter?
spike13 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 i had a set of these they put some light right in front of the bike but the two i had didn't last even one summer i replaced them with the sunspots from custom dynamics which do put more light on the road and so far are still working
Peder_y2k Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 150 lumens is a dim bulb!!. Look for something with more than 1200 lumens -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
djh3 Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 The bulb part of comes out of the rubber bucket. Yea I see they are not the brightest things. But they are not $70-80 a piece either.
