Sheesh that looks awfully familiar Bongo!!

I just stood outside, talked to God about Skids and my brothers Cancer and thanked him for bringing my family - friends and I all safely thru this horrible winter.. I also thanked him for lifes adventures that are about to SPRING up..:thumbsup2:

Than, I pointed at the fresh snow, laughed and said - you took your best shot but guess what, YOU LOSE, its spring now,,, and in my best Rambo voice, while staring at those snow banks, said,, "Let it go,,, LET IT GO!!"..

Figured nothing else has worked,, might as well try threatening the stuff.. :backinmyday:

Character building weather..... The change must be here soon though. Sun and wind as we all get to ride soon. I know not soon enough. I want the rain to come also, to get rid of the salt and sand on the road, before I pull my bike out.

Hate to tell ya'll, took a ride to Marco Island today, beautiful day out, actually got kinda hot on the ride home, had to stop for a water break. Also went down a road that was gravel for the last 18 miles, had to dodge alligators and my bike was trashed, even had dust in my saddle bags! Was a great day!!!

Now, now. The geese are flying back along with the buzzards, killdeer, robins, morning doves and numerous songbirds. Skunks are everywhere, possums are out {eating frozen dog turds}euuu, and I've seen our woodchuck running across the back yard last week. So it won't take long now for old man winter to finally release his grip on us Bob. Personally though i hope it comes slowly. I still have acres of grapes to be pruned. Getting to old for the job myself. Wish I could but this growing old has other ideas on my body. I've had a sign out front for workers for over two weeks. So far no takers. Funny how everyone says to kick out all the immigrants because they are taking all the jobs. Well thats happened around here with a vengeance. Now where is everyone for all this work? If it keeps going like this mechanical pruning will be all there is left. Which leaves alot to be desired. Oh well, the beat goes on and I'm getting to old to care either way. Hang in there and let the waves come to you better days are coming Bob.:D

Hey Cap'n,, its me again.. Just showed the wife what you had wrote,,, she said "thats just plain wrong" :rotf:

Her and I spent some time down there and loved it.. Not to far from where you were riding (not really good with road names, never really pay much attention to em) we took Alligator Hiway (what we called it anyway - its the only road across) toward Miami, about 10/15 miles east of where the road from Marco hooks in at we camped.. That is indeed some rough two-tracking leading back into the Ever Glades.. It was xtra memorable for us cause all night long birds were screeching, a LOT of splashing and crashing as gators were chompin down birds,, place was AMAZING!!

There,, I was nice, now PLEASE send up some warm gulf air!!!
