So does this mean the rim has two sets of holes in it?

16 inch 16x7.0 2Crave No. 2 Chrome wheel rim; dual drilled 4x100 / 4x4.5 4x114.3 with a +40 offset. Part Number: N02-1670B40FC

Jay, forgot about the sway bar! My thought was more so to shorten the entire stroke of the shock so it bottoms out about 1" shorter than it already does, which would also stiffen up the rear a tad...

Jeff, that is exactly what it means! There will all together be 8 stud holes in the wheel.

Alrighty Then. Tires and wheels ORDERED !!! :cool10: Total Cost $475.26 with free shipping.

And my two bottles of Ride-On.

Thanks for all the help and info.

From Jim today,

Jeff, The 40mm off set will be fine and should be a good looking wheel for your trike. Jim GoochHannigan Motorsport

At least you get a reply from them!! No answer to my PM to them about the thread on TT...

Gee, I wonder why Hannigan is not on the top of my favorites list...

If you pm in tt John would be the only one that sees it, he does not look in tt

Everyday, plus he would not know the answer, that Jim needs to

Answer for you, Jim does not view tt.

Jay, just got the wheels. there nothing like the photo, but I really like them.

the spoke part are not set that far back in. (like photo)

The chrome does not go all the way back. about like what the wheels you have now.

The photo they show is more of an Allusion (sp?)

Here are the photos I took just now. these will be perfect.

Will check the fitting Friday.

Thanks Larry , They do !!

they are 4 but I thing there is 4 more in there. for a different hub. like a 4.5

have not taken the center cover off yet , there is a emblem that goes into the center as well.

had them approved by Jim G.

I figured the hub would be at the outside of the wheel, they'd have to be with the offset. I am disappointed that the wheel is not chromed all the way back though.

OK so far I got the Wheels/Tires Mounted.. side note: FedEx dropped the tires off at the wrong addy.. that took a extra day to find them!

Here are some photos of the 16 wheel with out the center cover on it .

You also MUST get 8 more of this type lug nut shown in on of these photos.

I think this looks far better then the polished alum wheels.

now to send off the front for chrome this winter.

I will take a few more when I finish them you tomorrow.

it is a close fit, however the trike is still jacked up.

Jeff, are your old wheels pitted? If not would you want to sell them? I'd be sending them out to be powder coated. The reason I wanted new ones is because Jeannie's are pitted, the previous owner never took care of them.

Posted

Jay,

No they are not Pitted at all.

The Tires look brand new on the rims, (Michelins) all weather. they also have

$40 worth of Ride-On in them as well.

Make and Offer :-)

I also want to see how these new ones work first tho.

another thing to keep in mind is that the shipping would

be outrageous .

Forgot to mention that the wheels will hold a regular

wheel weight no tape on strips.

One wheel and tire took no weights , the other took 3 OZ.

pretty close, the 15's are 195/60 R15 , the 16's are 195/55 R16

so I think about a 1/4 inch taller ?

Damn I am so glad this project is DONE :shock3:

Could not have done it right with out you guys :D

Thanks!

I am really glad I did it tho. :thumbsup2:

Is it my Imagination or does the Trike corner better with 16's on it ?

Just came back from a short 30 mile ride to stir up the Ride-On

and man I love the Kumho Tires. heck maybe its the wheels :scratchchin: .

My Michelins didn't have that much wear on them at all.
