Nova Scotia

We spent 2 weeks this past summer on the east coast. Did not make it over to New Foundland but did spent time in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The Cabot Trail is a MUST. If fact if time permits it would be good to do it twice. Once in each direction. The Hopewell Rocks are worth seeing and we also spent time in the area around Peggy's Cove.. All in all it was a GREAT trip.

Hey Wayne, my wife and I had a fabulous trip to the east coast last summer after leaving Maintenance Day. We didn't do Newfoundland and we deliberately spent less time in Nova Scotia than I would recommend because we had been there numerous times. We did a blog that may give you some ideas and useful info. This should get you to our blog:

If you plan to travel to the island book your ferry passage early. We always book a cabin if traveling on the night or day crossing. Its cheaper for a cabin on the day crossing and you have a nice quiet place to relax for the 6+ hr trip.
