I bet its cause in bowling the balls attempt at making all the pins strike each other is accomplished when they all fall down,,,,, and in base ball the balls objective is to strike the catchers mitt and avoid getting hit by that nasty bat... You guys know that in order to figure out these advanced questions you have to be able to think like a ball dont cha....

How come when you are about to win in Tennis it is called Love? You know very well that your opponent does not Love you if you are about to win the match. Well of course, it is a racket.
