kentuckyrider Posted April 6, 2014 Author #26 Posted April 6, 2014 Update. Operation brakes... Finally. Did not do anything different than I have been doing the last few days. Got off work tonight. Came home burped banjo again. Cut tie wrap off brake lever. Pumped lever nothing. Took cap off master cyl. Took brake bleeder out of caliper and waited for it to drip bleed. Put bleeder back in. Filled mc, put cap back on used a tube into a bottle of brake fluid, pumped till no bubbles. Filled mc repeat, strong brake now on front. Have done nothing different than what I been doing.... Now on to next project... see what I can screw up next... :stirthepot:then hit the panic help button...LOL Thanks; everyone I appreciate all the input. Hopefully will have this back on the road soon...
kentuckyrider Posted April 18, 2014 Author #27 Posted April 18, 2014 Have had this back on the road for a couple weeks now. Been riding to work every night except the couple nights it was in the low 30's. I hate riding at night, but I have missed having this bike all in one piece. Nice to be back out there...
