bwk Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Posted March 12, 2014 I'm wanting to put a set of handle bar speakers on my 2005 RSTD, any suggestions?
bj66 Posted March 12, 2014 #2 Posted March 12, 2014 I did the shark set up......Cheap to do, didnt last for me. Plus the amp isnt waterproof. It will work in a pinch though. The amp gave out. but the speakers are still working....I think I got 2 years or so out of it. http://www.gooddeals18.com/category/motorcycle_audio/
Barrycuda Posted March 12, 2014 #3 Posted March 12, 2014 on my Vulcan I elected to spend a bit and go for the kuryakyn sound of chrome kit. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set. they are easy to install, LOUD, clear. I can definitely hear my MP3 player with a full face helmet doing 75 on the highway. Never regretted even once.
bwk Posted March 13, 2014 Author #4 Posted March 13, 2014 Thanks Guys... Has anyone heard anything about the Pyle systems?
Godlover Posted March 13, 2014 #5 Posted March 13, 2014 I have a set I took off my bike with amp that I will sell you for $40 plus shipping. Worked well but I don't like the looks. Can't remember the brand but I can look this weekend.
bwk Posted March 13, 2014 Author #6 Posted March 13, 2014 I'll take it, just let me know how much with the shipping and where to send the check... Thanks
billmac Posted April 28, 2014 #8 Posted April 28, 2014 How did the speakers work for you? Got pictures?
Jimbob66 Posted April 28, 2014 #9 Posted April 28, 2014 My buddy uses the J&M setup. It is pricey but it works reasonably well. We have been caught in the rain several times and have had no issues. The sound starts fading out about 65 MPH. Then again what sound system doesn't ?
bwk Posted April 28, 2014 Author #10 Posted April 28, 2014 The speakers worked out great and I like the way they look, i'll try to post pics later...
Ziggys05RSTD Posted May 11, 2014 #11 Posted May 11, 2014 I have the Cycle Sounds Series 3 speakers and they are awesome! 80+ mph and still hear them. They are a little pricey but worth it!
