Freebird Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Posted March 12, 2014 OK...it was a bit painful to paint over the beautiful paint that was on it but the trailer had to be matched to the new Harley so here it is. Not a great picture but I'll do better once this snow is finally gone.
Prairiehammer Posted March 12, 2014 #3 Posted March 12, 2014 Don, If you are not happy with the Bushtec paint job, I'll take it. I'm looking for a black Bushtec.
Freebird Posted March 12, 2014 Author #4 Posted March 12, 2014 Oh...I'm very happy with it. He did a very good job. It was just a bit sad to paint over the beautiful color matching of he '99 RSV. Had to be done though.
Prairiehammer Posted March 12, 2014 #5 Posted March 12, 2014 Could have just gone out and bought another '99 RSV. Could have saved the paint. Just sayin'.
bongobobny Posted March 12, 2014 #6 Posted March 12, 2014 ...or painted the Harley to match the Bushtec!
M61A1MECH Posted March 12, 2014 #7 Posted March 12, 2014 :sign yeah that:exactly what I was going to say.
The Tooch Posted March 12, 2014 #8 Posted March 12, 2014 Hate to tell you Freebird.......but according to the SIGN you can't park there!
Yammer Dan Posted March 13, 2014 #9 Posted March 13, 2014 Then I shouldn't mention that rattle can Camo paint job on the 99??
Aussie Annie Posted March 13, 2014 #10 Posted March 13, 2014 Hate to tell you Freebird.......but according to the SIGN you can't park there! :rotf::rotf:
Eck Posted March 13, 2014 #11 Posted March 13, 2014 Paint job looks great Don. I will be painting mine to match my GW soon also.. One thing I suggest is to think about making an easy "snap on / snap off" mud flap when pulling the Bushtec. Even if it attaches to the front of trailer tongue Stones will nick the front bra up really fast on that trailer if it isn't protected.
BigLenny Posted March 13, 2014 #12 Posted March 13, 2014 Don, I've been meaning to ask you this, and maybe someone has already asked you and I missed it. But, now that Harley has came out with their all new water cooled bike with all of the upgraded features, do you have just a tad of a "I wish I would've waited another year" feeling? I rode one and that sucker is very nice! Just wondering.
