Venturous Randy Posted March 10, 2014 #1 Posted March 10, 2014 I have seen on the news lately that the happiest states started with North Dakota and South Dakota. I wonder if they talked to any motorcycle riders? RandyA

cowpuc Posted March 10, 2014 #4 Posted March 10, 2014 I think Colorado & Washington have forgot they were happiest. bj66 Posted March 10, 2014 #5 Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) Colorado and Washington will soon be on the list of most overweight people, due to the sudden explosion of girl scout cookie sales...... As far as ND/SD go, The Center for Disease Control and Prevention did a study about alcohol drinking etc. and came up with a top 10 list of drunkest towns. Brookings SD was number 5 and Fargo ND was on the list as well. So was Lincoln Neb. All 3 are college towns, so that explains it. 3/4ths of the town of Brookings is the college, so maybe that is why people are always so happy in ND/SD. Cant ride because of the weather? Screw it, and pass me another beer......... That reminds me, my oldest son graduates from So. Dak. State University in Brookings this may. I'm going to ask him #1- if he participated in this study, and #2- if he got his moneys worth..... Edited March 10, 2014 by bj66
