It is exactly the same as Harbor Freight's as near as I can tell. There's was also on sale for 69.99 I have a coupon somewhere.

I used the one I had for a couple of years without incident then sold it.

I bought the Canadian tire lift.seems to work fine for 64 bucks.

Wanderer does it have enough vertical lift to also function as a transmission jack? I need to replace the transmission in my XJ8. my days of horsing auto transmissions around manually are long over.

Depends if you jack the jeep up to get under it or not! They may not raise high enough, but it's easy to put some cut 4x4's or other "height enhancing" devices up on it to help.....

the craftsman one I have looks a lot heavier built than the menards one. I think I paid 100 bucks (5 years ago) and used it a lot.
